Trust & Estate Litigation
Litigation over trusts and estates is often stressful and traumatic to everyone involved and affects clients in ways not often seen in other disputes. The experienced group at Dowling, Aaron & Keeler is dedicated to helping our clients navigate this complex and emotional process of litigation arising out of the administration of trusts and probate estates. Because of the complicated nature of this area of the law, involving families, courts, financial institutions and occasionally taxing authorities, DAK’s attorneys dedicate themselves solely to this practice area. In doing so, DAK provides a knowledgeable and committed group of individuals who fully represent your interests, answer your questions, and advise you throughout the course of the litigation.
Trust and estate litigation is multi-faceted and, accordingly, so are DAK’s services. This practice group defends wills and trusts, codicils and amendments, and represents clients questioning the validity of such documents. The group assists and counsels fiduciaries regarding the administration of trusts and estates, including defending them in actions brought by beneficiaries. DAK likewise represents beneficiaries and heirs in disputes with personal representatives and trustees. Such matters include accountings, will and trust contests, disputes over the propriety of actions taken by the fiduciary, and disputes over the distribution of assets.
DAK recognizes that each case is different, and thus thoroughly evaluates each matter at the inception of the case. The group endeavors to meet the specific and unique needs of each client, but in a manner that is cost-effective and reasonable without sacrificing the client’s interests.
