law school, Mr. Dixon helps employers find solutions to their problems in all settings.
Mr. Dixon counsels employers in daily decision making.
He defends
wage and hour class actions, as well as
individual
cases in litigation, arbitration, mediation and before numerous
administrative agencies. He has successfully resolved numerous cases alleging retaliation,
harassment, discrimination, failure to reasonably accommodate disability and numerous employment-related
contract and tort claims.
Mr. Dixon was selected in 2006 by the California State Council of the Society for
Human Resource Management (Cal-SHRM) to serve as the Legal Expert on Employee and
Labor Relations. In that role, he helped develop and co-author the first edition
of the SHRM California Learning SystemTM. He frequently provides training for
managers, supervisors and employees regarding topics such as workplace
harassment (including AB1825 training), discipline and discharge, privacy, electronic workplace
and other issues.
