As a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and Employment Law Group, Jeff has handled a wide range of business and employment disputes. Using his extensive experience to counsel clients dealing with actual or threatened litigation, Jeff acquires a thorough understanding of his clients’ goals then works closely with his clients to develop effective strategies to accomplish the desired result. Whether the client decides to take the case to trial or settle at the outset, Jeff communicates promptly and frequently with his clients to ensure they understand their options throughout the process. To this end, Jeff personally oversees every aspect of the case, including pre-litigation consultation and assessment, risk management and insurance coverage analysis, legal research, alternative dispute resolution, development of trial or settlement themes and strategies, fact gathering and organization, discovery and dispositive motion practice, pre-trial briefs and motions, preparation and examination of trial witnesses, jury selection, trial, and post-trial motions, if necessary.

While Jeff’s practice is primarily comprised of defense work, Jeff has helped his clients accomplish several multi-million dollar damages recoveries. Jeff has represented clients in matters involving a wide range of business disputes, wrongful termination, employment discrimination and retaliation, wage and hour claims, workers compensation, breach of contract, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, insurance issues, real property, personal injury, elder abuse, administrative and regulatory agency matters and partnership disputes.
